About the Program

D.Pharma at DBSGU School of Health Sciences is a two-year career-oriented diploma programme, approved by Pharmacy council of India (PCI).

Students interested in pursuing a long-term career in the medical field of pharmaceutical sciences and beginning a career in the pharmaceutical sector can enroll in the D Pharma programme.

Curriculum

D. Pharm programs cover a range of subjects related to pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, and pharmacy practice. Common topics include:

Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Understanding the composition and properties of pharmaceuticals.

Pharmacology: Learning about the effects and uses of drugs.

Pharmacognosy: Studying medicinal plants and natural sources of drugs.

Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence: Exploring pharmacy laws, ethics, and regulations.

Hospital Pharmacy: Focusing on pharmacy practices within a hospital setting.

Drug Formulation and Dispensing: Teaching the preparation and dispensing of medications.

Clinical Pharmacy: Understanding the role of pharmacy in patient care.

Eligibility

To pursue this program student must have

Pass certificate in Higher Secondary School or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology as a subject.
