On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day 2025, the School of Pharmacy & Research at DBS Global University organised a series of impactful activities under the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist.”
The celebration began with a special address by Dr Pratap Singh, CMS, State Mental Institute, Selakui, who spoke about the rising challenges of drug abuse, its harmful impact on youth, and the importance of staying committed to health and career goals.
Students actively participated by showcasing their knowledge and creativity through a drug awareness exhibition, emphasising prevention, education, and responsible choices. The event also featured a Medical Checkup Camp, offering screenings for blood pressure, sugar levels, BMI, and haemoglobin, benefiting over 100 participants, including faculty, staff, and students.
Through dialogue, engagement, and service, World Pharmacist Day 2025 highlighted DBS Global University’s commitment to fostering awareness, promoting health, and building a responsible, informed society.
