The Marketing Club at DBS Global University proudly hosted a three-day immersive workshop on “The Art of Consultative Selling 5.0”, led by Mr. Vijayvikram R Nayak, an accomplished corporate trainer with extensive experience at Reliance, Tata Teleservices, and Coca-Cola.
The workshop was designed to redefine how our students perceive and practice sales. Moving beyond traditional selling methods, participants were introduced to Sales 5.0, a dynamic blend of strategy, empathy, innovation, and technology. Through interactive sessions, case studies, and real-world role plays, students learned how to identify client needs, build authentic relationships, and co-create solutions that deliver value.
What set this workshop apart was its focus on bridging the gap between classroom learning and corporate realities. Students gained practical insights into the nuances of consultative selling from understanding buyer psychology to leveraging digital tools for smarter sales outcomes.
