We hosted an electrifying session with Infosys that brought the world of AI directly to our campus. The event featured two distinguished speakers from Infosys: Mr Kamalkumar Rathinasamy, Distinguished Technologist, and Ms Harshini Kumarasubramian, Specialist Programmer, who shared their deep insights on Large Language Models and the emerging Agentic Era.
Students immersed themselves in the Resource Dynamics of LLMs with Mr Rathinasamy, learning how AI systems are designed, scaled, and optimised for real-world applications. This was not just a lecture; it was a hands-on glimpse into the mechanics behind the technologies shaping industries today.
Ms Kumarasubramian took the session further, guiding students through the transition From Models to Agents. She explained how AI is evolving from static models to intelligent, autonomous agents that can make decisions and interact dynamically with the world.
The outcomes were clear. Students left inspired, equipped with practical knowledge, and buzzing with ideas for how AI can be applied across sectors. Questions flowed, discussions sparked, and curiosity met expertise in a way only possible when industry leaders engage directly with bright minds.
At DGU, classrooms do more than teach. They connect students with the future.
