As the morning of 26 January unfolded in shades of hope and pride, the campus gathered to commemorate the 77th Republic Day of India. This day honours the soul of the nation and the strength of its Constitution.
The celebration began with the unfurling of the national flag by Dr Manish Prateek, Pro Vice Chancellor, followed by the National Anthem that resonated across the campus. The moment stood as a powerful reminder of India’s journey as a Republic and the collective responsibility to uphold its democratic values.
Addressing the gathering, faculty members reflected on the Constitution's vision and the role of citizens in strengthening the nation. Emphasis was placed on integrity, equality, and active participation in nation-building, especially by the youth.
Students expressed their patriotism through thoughtful speeches and cultural performances that captured India’s unity in diversity. Their participation added emotion and energy to the celebration, transforming the occasion into a shared experience of pride and reflection.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of commitment to the ideals of the Republic, reminding everyone that the tricolour does not merely fly on flagpoles, but lives in the values we practise every day.
