This Harela, DBS Global University, led from the front by launching three simultaneous plantation drives, on-campus and across the city, as a tribute to Uttarakhand’s deep-rooted connection with nature and sustainability.
Organised in collaboration with the Social Welfare Club, the campaign went beyond symbolism. It was an act of purpose, engaging students, faculty, and community members in planting saplings that will one day stand tall as reminders of responsibility and resilience.
The green mission was led under the insightful guidance of Dr. Anjum Aggarwal, Vice President of DBSGU, whose unwavering advocacy for environmental consciousness is shaping a new generation of eco-aware youth. Her leadership isn’t just visionary, it’s action-driven.
At DBSGU, we don’t just talk about change, we plant it.
From muddy hands to mindful hearts, every participant became a stakeholder in the planet’s future. The air buzzed with energy, ideas, and a shared dream of a cleaner, greener, more hopeful tomorrow.
This wasn’t just a tree plantation.
It was a call to action.
It was a lesson in legacy.
It was a green promise from DBSGU to the Earth.
Here, every sapling carries a story.
Every student becomes a steward.
And every step forward leaves a footprint of purpose.
