DBS Global University is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with La Roche University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, establishing a strategic academic partnership aimed at strengthening global learning, research collaboration, and international academic engagement.
The MOU was formally executed by Mr. Mohit Aggarwal, M.M.S., President of DBS Global University, and Christina A. Clark, Ph.D., President of La Roche University, reflecting the shared commitment of both institutions to academic excellence, cross-cultural collaboration, and the preparation of students for success in an increasingly globalized academic and professional environment.
Under the terms of the agreement, DBS Global University and La Roche University will collaborate on a range of academic initiatives, including student mobility programs, faculty and staff exchanges, joint research projects, and the exchange of educational resources and institutional knowledge. The partnership also provides for the development of dual-degree and joint-degree programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, along with short-term language programs, international field experiences, practicum opportunities, and workforce development initiatives. These initiatives are designed to foster sustainable collaboration and advance the long-term academic objectives of both universities.
Founded in 2007 as Doon Business School, DBS Global University is a multidisciplinary private university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Since being conferred university status in 2024, DBS Global University has expanded its academic portfolio through multiple schools offering more than 50 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines, including business and management, engineering and technology, computing and data science, liberal studies, pharmacy and research, agriculture, law, and modern media.
