Strategic Leadership

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the university, ensuring that academic and administrative processes run smoothly.
• Coordinates between different departments and faculties to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Governance and Policy Development

• Contributes to the formulation and implementation of university policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory bodies and accreditation standards.
• Participates in university governance, including sitting on key committees such as academic boards and management councils.

External Relations

• Represents the university at external events, partnerships, and collaborations with other educational institutions, industries, and government bodies.

Student and Faculty Development

• Leads initiatives to enhance student experience, including improving services related to student welfare, extracurricular activities, and career development.
• Oversees faculty development programs, focusing on improving teaching quality, research output, and professional growth of academic staff.
• Addresses student and faculty concerns, mediating and resolving conflicts when necessary.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Ensures that the university complies with national and international educational standards.
• Develops and implements quality assurance frameworks to maintain academic and operational standards.
• Plays a key role in accreditation processes and continuous improvement efforts.

Innovation and Digital Transformation

• Leads efforts in incorporating technology in teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
• Promotes digital innovation, including the adoption of e-learning, research platforms, and data-driven decision-making.

Crisis Management

• Works with the President in managing crises, including addressing issues related to student safety, institutional reputation, or operational challenges.

Admissions

• Contributes in the admissions by tying up with the ICCs and marketing consultants
• Recruitment of the admission team.

Students’ Placement

• Coordinate with the team CDC in Planning and execution for the 100% placements of the DGU passing out students.
• Constitution of Industry Advisory Board for the Industry Oriented, cutting edge programmes and curriculum development.

Role and responsibilities:

As the founding Pro Vice Chancellor of Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune, Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj played a key role in the establishment of the University. From faculty recruitment from prestigious organizations to designing the program structures and curricula for a variety of programs across disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Design, Sciences, Liberal Arts, Mass Media, & Communication and various council programmes at the University, he empanelled the enthusiastic experts from Academia and Industry. In his capacity as a dedicated administrator, he has overseen all University affairs for the past years. Dr. Bhardwaj established the research and development department in the inaugural year of the university, attracting more than 500 Ph.D, applications resulting in over a hundred admissions in diverse disciplines.

Dr. Bhardwaj has been actively involved in the outreach programme of the University. While overseeing the marketing and outreach department, he assembled a team of dedicated professionals for nationwide marketing, resulting in over 4500 paid applications and 1500 admissions in the University's first year. Conducted numerous meetings with principals and admission associates across states including UP, West Bengal, North eastern states, Jammu &Kashmir, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi NCR. Additionally, he has orchestrated the nationwide launch of the University through various Above-the-Line (ATL) and below-the- Line (BTL) activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Campus Director at the DBS group is the ‘Chief Officer’ of the Group, who is responsible for the proper and efficient administration of the institutions under the group in accordance with the rules and guidelines laid down in this respect by the ‘Trust’ and for the imparting of instructions and maintenance of discipline therein. This position occupies unique place, as the facilitating link among the Directors/Principals, Department Chairpersons (HODs), Deans, faculty members, students, and class/course coordinators as well as for operation, maintenance and development of support systems like Hostels, laboratories, and libraries, instructional and audio-visual Gadgets. He will also be coordinating the marketing functions to attract, admit and retain quality students to the fullest capacity of the institutes within the Group.

Responsibilities such as Legislative; Planning; Recruitment; Execution and Outcome; Institutionalization; Academic Programs; Academic Leadership; Update and Reviewing of Syllabi; Students’ & Staff Welfare and Discipline; Complaints and Grievance Handling; Procedural Compliance; Academic Collaborations; Relationship Management; Expansion had been handled with full efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To Supervise Academic Administration (Operations) in Amity university campuses (Noida, Greater Noida, Lucknow, Dubai and Tashkent).
• Successfully implemented NEP2020 and the recommendations of UPSHEC/UPHED in Amity University Noida and its four campuses (Noida, Greater Noida, Lucknow, Dubai & Tashkent) by formulating guidelines and automating the process.
• Ensuring the smooth functioning of academic sessions & implementation of University’s policies mandated by UGC, AICTE, BCI, RCI, COA, NCTE, etc.
• Curriculum Design & Development- Responsible for vetting and approval of Model Frame works, creation and custody of the Academic Records i.e., Academic calendars, Board of Studies, Area Advisory Boards, Exam schedule and other Co-curricular activities.
• Coordination with all Deans/Directors/HOIs for the smooth functioning of the academic systems and maintaining the academic standards in all 5 campuses of university.
• Ensuring the focus on Outcome-Based Education and smooth progression of Students through University Policy frameworks.
• Active Member of the University Coordination committees working for Accreditation of NAAC, WASC and QAA and other different accreditation bodies.
• Successfully established Academic Staff College in Amity University.
• Stream Coordinator of all University Streams like British Standards of India, Foreign Business Languages (French, German, Chinese, Sanskrit, etc.), Environmental Studies, Behavioural Science, Communication Skills, and Business Communication etc.
• During Covid 19 the translation of all official letters/Communications (Hindi- English- Hindi) received from UGC/UPSHEC/UPHED/Central Govt/State Govt. and other regulatory bodies from time to time and responding to respective authorities by submitting action taken report with the due facts and figures.
