  • Currently serving as founding Pro Vice Chancellor of DBS Global University Dehradun, since April, 2024 is a seasoned professional with over 26 years of extensive experience in Teaching, Research, Training, Academic Administration, and Institution Building.
  • He play a pivotal role in designing and developing curriculum structures in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, ensuring that the academic programs meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.

An astute professional having 26+years of experience in Teaching, Research, Training, Academic administration & Institution Building. Enthusiastically inclined to uplift the academic standards by utilizing functional experience through teamwork and ‘lead from front’ attitude. Prof. Bhardwaj has been on directorial positions since last 15+years and now as Pro Vice Chancellor is successfully leading DBS Global University Dehradun to new heights.


Having an extensive experience in academic administration and Institutional building in different capacities, he is currently serving DBS GU Dehradun as Pro Vice Chancellor and actively engaged in nurturing university by developing systems in Curriculum design development, fostering admissions from pan India and faculty recruitment. Under his guidance, in the first year of his previous university(PCU Pune) a remarkable number of 1500 admissions has been achieved successfully in different programs such as PhD, Engineering, Management, Science, Computer Application, Pharmacy etc.


While Serving Amity University for more than 5+ years, Dr. Bhardwaj has successfully implemented the National Education Policy 2020 in Amity University Noida Uttar Pradesh and in its four allied campuses (Greater Noida, Lucknow, Dubai & Tashkent) to ensure the holistic and multi-disciplinary education. He had been the member of University Internal Quality Assurance Cell, many BoS & AAB, Academic Council & is committed to use his strategic and planning acumen in the field of education.


Prof. Bhardwaj, during his 9+ years tenure with Accurate Group of Institutions as Executive Director, has successfully spear headed the group comprising the Management, Engineering, and Architecture Institutions. Dr. Bhardwaj had been continuously adding it to his credentials by attending National/ International Seminar/ Conferences & contributing to Publications.

Role and responsibilities:

As the founding Pro Vice Chancellor of Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune, Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj played a key role in the establishment of the University. From faculty recruitment from prestigious organizations to designing the program structures and curricula for a variety of programs across disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Design, Sciences, Liberal Arts, Mass Media, & Communication and various council programmes at the University, he empanelled the enthusiastic experts from Academia and Industry. In his capacity as a dedicated administrator, he has overseen all University affairs for the past years. Dr. Bhardwaj established the research and development department in the inaugural year of the university, attracting more than 500 Ph.D, applications resulting in over a hundred admissions in diverse disciplines.

Dr. Bhardwaj has been actively involved in the outreach programme of the University. While overseeing the marketing and outreach department, he assembled a team of dedicated professionals for nationwide marketing, resulting in over 4500 paid applications and 1500 admissions in the University's first year. Conducted numerous meetings with principals and admission associates across states including UP, West Bengal, North eastern states, Jammu &Kashmir, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi NCR. Additionally, he has orchestrated the nationwide launch of the University through various Above-the-Line (ATL) and below-the- Line (BTL) activities.

Doon Business School Dehradun (since 21 October 2022 – 10 June 2023): Campus Director:

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Campus Director at the DBS group is the ‘Chief Officer’ of the Group, who is responsible for the proper and efficient administration of the institutions under the group in accordance with the rules and guidelines laid down in this respect by the ‘Trust’ and for the imparting of instructions and maintenance of discipline therein. This position occupies unique place, as the facilitating link among the Directors/Principals, Department Chairpersons (HODs), Deans, faculty members, students, and class/course coordinators as well as for operation, maintenance and development of support systems like Hostels, laboratories, and libraries, instructional and audio-visual Gadgets. He will also be coordinating the marketing functions to attract, admit and retain quality students to the fullest capacity of the institutes within the Group.

Responsibilities such as Legislative; Planning; Recruitment; Execution and Outcome; Institutionalization; Academic Programs; Academic Leadership; Update and Reviewing of Syllabi; Students’ & Staff Welfare and Discipline; Complaints and Grievance Handling; Procedural Compliance; Academic Collaborations; Relationship Management; Expansion had been handled with full efficiency.

Amity University, Noida, and Uttar Pradesh, India: (Since Aug.2017) Professor & Dy. Director at University HQ (Academic Administration):

  • To Supervise Academic Administration (Operations) in Amity university campuses (Noida, Greater Noida, Lucknow, Dubai and Tashkent).
  • Successfully implemented NEP2020 and the recommendations of UPSHEC/UPHED in Amity University Noida and its four campuses (Noida, Greater Noida, Lucknow, Dubai & Tashkent) by formulating guidelines and automating the process.
  • Ensuring the smooth functioning of academic sessions & implementation of University’s policies mandated by UGC, AICTE, BCI, RCI, COA, NCTE, etc.
  • Curriculum Design & Development- Responsible for vetting and approval of Model Frame works, creation and custody of the Academic Records i.e., Academic calendars, Board of Studies, Area Advisory Boards, Exam schedule and other Co-curricular activities.
  • Coordination with all Deans/Directors/HOIs for the smooth functioning of the academic systems and maintaining the academic standards in all 5 campuses of university.
  • Ensuring the focus on Outcome-Based Education and smooth progression of Students through University Policy frameworks.
